Yaoi fans are ready for Jinx Chapter 30 which is on the way next. In this case, the new character seems to be a K-Pop singer who knows Jaekyung. The fact that the characters can return to the main plot at this point says a lot about how brief the intermission was. Perhaps it should have been evident that there would be some slower chapters along the way, considering everything that has happened. This manhwa also showed us how Jaekyung and Kim Dan were able to reconcile their rift in a crafty way. In a typical depiction, the feuding parties would eventually reconcile and become close again. It’s a little more wholesome since, thankfully, they don’t have any ‘buts’ about agreeing with one other.

Chapter 29 of Jinx, like most of the others, before it, begins with a brief time jump that transports the reader to Kim Dan’s bedroom. He passed out during the act, so he’s taking some time to recover from all that transpired with Jaekyung. He was concerned that it had upset Jaekyung, but upon reflection, he realized that he hadn’t given the matter any thought.
Jaekyung wore spectacles for the first time in the show, which caught Kim Dan off guard. He had to admit that putting on spectacles improved his appearance. Yet, as usual, he lacked the social skills necessary to initiate conversation, leaving Jaekyung to do so.
We don’t know if it was a new or old black-and-white film, but we saw Jaekyung and Kim Dan viewing it together. We also witnessed him politely request that Doc have a seat but embarrassed Dan stood in for him. Sometimes, but not always, he seems to be trying to free Kim Dan from his prison cell. We should expect a lot of drama in the next Jinx chapters 30 release.
In the Jinx Chapter 30 release, we’ll learn more about the new character and his role in the relationship between Kim Dan and Jaekyung. Potato’s future as a series regular or recurring character is up in the air after what just happened. Visually, however, he seems like he could be the protagonist.
Potato seemed like a second Kim Dan, although one who had taken a different path in life and had it much easier than our doctor. And while the author hinted that he could be a part of what was going on between Kim Dan and Jaekyung, in retrospect he seems a little too immature to fit in.
