Fans can’t wait out more about Potato in Jinx Chapter 24. A new character had been introduced to the readers and he is a simp. Potato…who is he? As Jaekyung and Kim Dan moved in together, Potato became skeptical of their relationship, as did other gym-goers. Nobody else in the show has ever detected anything unusual about them.
Many of Jaekyung’s friends and gym mates should be familiar with his character by now. His coach, if no one else, should have some understanding of the kind of guy their star athlete is. But it appears that Jaekyung has been successful in keeping his secrets to himself.
The fact that Jaekyung is able to keep to himself and not draw attention to himself may be the key to his success in concealment. However, this may no longer be the case, as Kim Dan represents the polar opposite. Without even attempting, he manages to draw everyone’s gaze in his direction. However, in this case, it is Potato who has been keeping a close eye on both of them.

At the beginning of Jinx Mingwa Chapter 23, Potato and Jaekyung are talking on the phone while watching a match. In an effort to impress Jaekyung, he detailed his life before he joined the gym. He wishes for nothing more than for Jaekyung to see his wonderful qualities and compliment him on them.
Everyone at the gym seems to think of Potato as a mascot of sorts. He had to stay behind and practice while the others went to the match. Before leaving, his supervisors ruffled his hair and talked to him like he was a cute little brother.
Separation from the group was fine for Potato because he got to spend time with Jaekyung, his hero. Or at least that would have been the case if Doc Kim Dan hadn’t stayed at the gym as well. When Potato inquires as to why Kim Dan didn’t leave with them, he offers an explanation that only serves to heighten Potato’s suspicions about his and Jaekyung’s connection.
