According to a recent report from Insider Gaming, developers are still keeping a close eye on the previous generation console platform. These leaks include dates for the MW2 season and another unreleased project codenamed Jupiter that is set to enter alpha testing in May or June this year, with a possible 2023 release. Apparently, the documents that were breached from Activision have made their way onto the publication, where they’ve found references to Call of Duty 2024 being available on previous-generation video game consoles.
The codename for the released 2024 Call of Duty title is Cerberus, and nothing is known about what the title will include. But if the documentation proves correct, this is one game that will see at least one cross-generational release. It is also not surprising to see this, as there are plans to ensure that the Call of Duty game also launches on the Nintendo Switch platform.
