Previously in Chapter 83

Odin and one of his Valkyries have a conversation at the beginning of the chapter. It is predicted that Heimdall would die at Loki’s hands, and this worries Odin. Heimdall should have little problem vanquishing a mere mortal like Loki, according to the Valkyrie, who reassure Odin that he is a deity. However, Odin isn’t quite convinced. He is fully aware that Heimdall is in grave danger and that prophecies are always true.

At the same time, Hela and Jaehyeon are talking about the Tower of Aesir. Hella reveals that the gods forbid acting contrary to the flow of time and that the power of prophecy is dwindling. Hera reassures Jaehyeon that Heimdall will be OK, calming his fears.

After awakening from a dream involving Heimdall, Jaehyeon resolves to devote more time to studying the gods. He discovers that Heimdall is one of Asgard’s most powerful gods and that it is his job to keep an eye on the Bifrost Bridge. His courage and strength impress Jaehyeon, but his fate worries him.

Hela shows there and informs Jaehyeon that his second trial is about to begin. She brings him to Iceland, the site of an ancient city’s ruins. The sight of the ruins is very breathtaking, and Jaehyeon is eager to explore them.

Jaehyeon is chatting on the phone with his friend about their impending vacation to Disneyland. The idea of using his mana stones to level up to 30 excites him. Also, he shares with his friend how excited he is to fight as an S-Rank raider for the first time.

The author skillfully builds suspense and keeps the reader guessing. Believable and well-developed characters are also present. The conversation is smooth and easy to follow.
