Hrishav “Hrishav” Kumar, a well-known content developer for Hydra Esports, has expressed his displeasure with the internal politics in Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) scrims. Hrishav emphasised that despite Hydra Esports’ accomplishments and deserving team status, the scrim organisers had refused to provide them with a spot in the scrims. The lack of transparency in team selection was further discussed, and he described how several organisers disregarded him when he approached them to raise the issue. Hydra Esports’ Hrishav Expresses Frustration Over Internal Politics in BGMI Scrims.

Hydra Esports Exclusion from BGMI Scrims:

Despite performing well in recent official BGMI events, Hydra Esports has been struggling to secure a slot in BGMI Tier-1 practice scrims. During a livestream, a viewer suggested that Hrishav should take action to enable the team to play in Tier-1 scrims. However, Hrishav clarified that the decision was not in his hands and elaborated on the situation. He mentioned that in the recent pro scrims, Hydra Esports did not receive a slot, even though a player from another team was asked to join but was later removed without a slot for their team.

Lack of Transparency and Communication:

Hrishav stated that when he discussed the situation with the scrim organizers, they informed him that Hydra Esports was not given a slot because they did not have a complete playing four. However, Hrishav emphasized that this was not true, as the team had been playing together for a long time. He further added that he was not approached by anyone regarding this matter, and he was certain that neither the organization owner, Aaditya “Dynamo” Sawant, nor the manager, DANGER, had been contacted about it.

Hrishav’s Attempts to Seek Clarification:

In his attempts to seek clarification, Hrishav approached the organizer Upthrust Esports (UE) to inquire about the situation. He was told that slots were being given based on achievements and was asked about the players on his team. “The person I was talking to was Ravan from UE. Later, he told me that he wasn’t managing the scrims. I messaged the person who was managing the scrims named Grunt, but he isn’t replying,” Hrishav added.

Frustration with Team Selectors:

Expressing his frustration with the team selectors, Hrishav pointed out that other organizations seemed to be receiving slots without transparency or fairness. Despite Hydra Esports’ achievements, they were left out of the recent scrims, while other top teams like 8bit, Team SouL, and Team MAVI had received slots. Hrishav questioned the management and internal politics, stating that they did not receive a straightforward answer. This is not the first time Hrishav has spoken about this issue, but unfortunately, the team has not found a solution yet.

Hydra Esports’ Hrishav Kumar’s frustration over the internal politics in BGMI scrims highlights the challenges faced by competitive gaming teams. Lack of transparency, communication, and fairness in team selection can hinder deserving teams from participating in practice scrims and improving their skills. It remains to be seen how Hydra Esports will overcome this problem and continue their pursuit of excellence in the BGMI esports scene.
