As they prepared for their upcoming duel practice, their instructor began Chapter 50 by yelling directions at them. To broaden their horizons, he suggested the students pick an opponent they had never fought before. Additionally, he informed them that using Vis against their opponents will result in sanctions.
Asuka and Sabbat got into an argument shortly after the students began searching for their spouses. The heir to a noble family was constantly plotting his downfall, but Asuka dared him to take a stand. Still, instead of fighting with Asuka, Sabbat clung to his nasty tongue and provoked her.
We see a flashback to Sabbat plotting to ruin the duel that will decide Asuka and Helmut’s fate. Sabbat plotted to bait them so that they would be vulnerable while they practiced dueling, and then they would use Vis to hurt them. They would have to give up on their university careers because the harm to their bodies would be too devastating.
A classic duel between two swordsmen will be place in Chapter 51. Despite how much we’d like it if the affluent noble children would simply vanish, they have a purpose in the story. As the story progresses, one of them becomes the enemy the protagonists face.
In the last chapter, Sabbat’s willingness to play dirty was the main emphasis of the fight with Asuka. Asuka was Sabbat’s target, and he intended to provoke her to the point when he would resort to using Vis as a weapon. It was an excuse, but all he wanted was to prove his social status by dethroning one of the up-and-coming artists.
