At the beginning of Heavenly Inquisition Sword Chapter 71, Seoljoo announces her arrival to the other bandits. After bringing down the bandits’ second in-arm, Seoljoo was standing tall and issuing a challenge to them. Her goal in going was to become as well-known as the other five heroes at the time.
But the other four showed up there, and they defeated the robbers on their own, just to show them who’s boss. We also see Yeon’s relatives talking about Seoljoo and what she did yesterday. The activities that drove the grandmother of the Yeon family were completely insane.
The matriarch questioned why they believed it was a good plan to let Seoljoo join a group of vigilantes. One of the younger Yeons noted that the group’s bandleader’s grandmother was from a prominent Purim family. The matriarch’s temper flared further as she warned them that living so close together would only lead to resentment.
The action series finally shifts into a training arc for the MC in Heavenly Inquisition Sword Chapter 72. In recent chapters, the illegitimate Yeon has done nothing except babble. Instead of a powerful hero from an action-packed manhwa, he looked more like a regular guy from a slice-of-life series.
This manhwa is making do with what it has and going in its own direction, but there’s a good reason for it. Over the course of the most recent episode, the show has established five or six storylines that it plans to develop further. No one can predict what will happen, but it’s obvious the manhwa has ambitious plans.
It hasn’t quite caught on like some of the other top manhwas, but it has potential. But that’s the case with every manhwa because they all progress similarly. The focus on many character arcs is what sets this manhwa apart from others.
