GTA Online: Players not happy with updated vehicle prices

Rockstar Games seems to be gearing up to adjust the vehicle prices in an upcoming GTA Online update. The update is expected to bump prices of some cars heavily, which could be shocking to players.

GTA Online players shocked by vehicle price adjustments

In a Rockstar Newswire post, GTA ONline developers have explained that vehicle pricing adjustments will be rolled out to the game on April 27. The changes should reflect each vehicle’s value to players, with some cars receiving a price drop while others will double in value.

The company hopes to lower the cost of some vehicles will provide them with more accessibility, particularly for the like of Imponte Ruiner 2000 that has “unique features and counter-attacking capabilities.” Besides, the price hike targets rides such as the Pegassi Oppressor Mk II, due to their “outsized utility, performance, or powerful weaponry.”

Tez3 snapped a shot of Rockstar’s full list of upcoming price adjustments for GTA Online vehicles. As one would expect, players have especially taken note of the Pegassi Oppressor Mk II going higher from $3 million to $8 million.

Some think the massive price bump is absurd as most players who want the overpowered bike already own it. Other argue taht such a drastic measure indicates pricing isn’t the issue. The new pricing is not coming to the game until April 27. GTA Online players who want to take advantage of current vehicle values should grab the chance sooner than later.

What is GTA V roleplay?

GTA V roleplay is a multiplayer mod for the PC version of GTA V. Players who join a user-created RP server take the form of a normal NPC, which is customizable in a number of ways.
