Rockstar Games has caused a stir with the latest Halloween 2022 update. The update also brought back Peyote Plants to the online version of the blockbuster game. Now players can go to their locations, eat them, and turn themselves into animals.
Although the game is 9 years old, GTA Online is still a huge world where players can express themselves by doing pretty much everything – given it is in the game’s limitations.
While tasks such as robbing a casino, racing high-speed cars, or transporting business goods are very realistic and align with the real world, sometimes developers take something weird out of their boxes to provide a completely different experience to the players.
Now, GTA Online’s Halloween 2022 update re-introduced Peyote Plants to the game’s vast map, which transforms players into wild animals. In this article, we will discuss everything players should know about the in-game Peyote Plants.
These plants are spread across the map of the game. Players can consume them just by standing close to them. The plant will instantly show its effect on the player’s character by transforming their body into an animal.
There’s nothing special that players need to do in order to try this out. All players need is to find a Peyote Plant and they can transform into a wild animal.

These Peyote Plants are spread across different areas and players can find them while they are driving around the map. Players will know when they find one, as the vibrations will be strong and they will see a small green circle with some white and yellow flowers on top of the floor.
There’s no word until when the Peyote Plants will stay in GTA Online, as the developer only adds them for a few days. But it’s safe to assume that the Peyote Plants will stay until the Halloween event 2022 is concluded. Since the event will go on till the end of November 2022, players have enough time to sport an animal skin in the game.
