GTA enthusiasts finally got a sneak peek of GTA 6 after a hacker leaked gameplay footage of GTA 6 development in a major Rockstar Games hack. The leaks put several rumors to rest, including the return of Vice City, the first female protagonists, and much more. But that’s not it, the footage also gave a glimpse of the size of the new map.

With the help of the coordinates, players managed to get an idea about where certain areas in the leaked footage were located, allowing them to imagine the scale of Vice City. It’s obviously huge and impressive at the same time. But it might potentially be too daunting for some players.

Players concerned about GTA 6’s map size

In several social media posts on Twitter and Reddit, user ‘ChurchOfGTA’ jotted down the coordinates of GTA 5 and compared them with the ones found in the leak to suggest the true size of Vice City’s new map.

As shown in the map, the actual city portion is huge and way larger compared to Los Santos. While many players were thrilled to see the size, others thought it was way too big and are worried it will have many empty spaces similar to GTA 5’s map.

It’s imperative to note that Rockstar still hasn’t announced GTA 6 officially, so it’s likely that the size of the map could change drastically from what has leaked so far. That said, only time will tell if Vice City will do justice to its size by offering activities that will keep players hooked for years to come.
