I appreciate that Leshea wants to play God’s Game 2 with Fay again, but they need a team first. Plus, they shouldn’t wake Miranda up when she’s sleeping, no matter how cute she is in her pajamas!
Fay, Leshea, the other apostles, and their last squad face up against the Gods’ Game in an explosive and action-packed opening sequence.
Joining a team should be simple, shouldn’t it? After all, Fay has a lot of fans! The time Leshea has spent among humans has been traumatic, and as a result, she has sent multiple Apostles to the hospital. All she does is play her games very seriously, you know? In times of distress, she resorts to speaking in an archaic, godlike manner.
Who should show up but a teleporter, just when Fay thinks they need one? Pearl is her name, and she’s a beautiful blonde. A parfait is sure to strike up a discussion with any girl, but it’s too bad she’s already retiring.
Pearl is considering retiring after losing a game because she switched places with her captain out of fear; she also possesses pretty good teleportation skills and can move objects of similar weight that she has touched within a few seconds. Fay doesn’t want anyone to stop enjoying gaming, and Leshea doesn’t think it should be enough to make her give up.
Obviously, as a teleporter, she has likely been entering and exiting her room regularly, but why would she leave it unlocked for half a year?
