God of War Ragnarok, the highly awaited sequel to the 2018 God of War game, presents an array of impressive features. Nonetheless, it has its shortcomings. As a player, I found the game enjoyable yet frustratingly prolonged. Indeed, not only God of War Ragnarök but many recent games are protracted, compelling players to spend hours upon hours to rationalise their purchase. While the game’s high production standards and stunning graphics are remarkable, its extended duration can lead to exhaustion and detract from the overall experience. God of War Ragnarok: Review and Analysis of the Highly Anticipated Seque.

Variety in Enemies

One of the game’s lacking aspects was the variety in enemies. Despite the game’s progress from the previous version, it still requires more diversity in adversaries. As a player, facing the same opponents repeatedly made the game appear unvarying and tedious.

Role-Playing Elements

I also found the game’s role-playing elements unnecessary. Though an improvement from the previous game, I believe they do not add significant value to the overall experience. The game could have been equally remarkable without them.

Game Length

The most significant drawback of God of War Ragnarok is its duration. Though longer than its predecessor, it need not have been so. In reality, the game could have been twice as exceptional if it were half as lengthy. The plot seemed stretched out and inflated, and I discovered myself losing interest as the game dragged on. The game lacked a clear sense of purpose or direction, making it feel unnecessarily extended.

Comparison to Spider-Man: Miles Morales

Compared to Spider-Man: Miles Morales, the latter was a superior game due to its brevity and sweetness. The characters were well-developed, and the plot made sense. As a player, I was able to remember plot details, and the characters resolved their problems within a reasonable time frame, making the game more engaging.

Conclusion

God of War Ragnarok is an exceptional game, but it could have been enhanced. The lack of variety in enemies, unnecessary role-playing elements, and excessive length made it seem tedious and repetitive. In contrast, Spider-Man: Miles Morales was able to tell an engrossing story within a shorter duration. As a player, I would have relished God of War Ragnarök more if it had been shorter and had a clearer sense of direction.
