In a recent Instagram post, Garena disclosed the upcoming “2.0” revamp for Nextterra. Brace for a Zipway redesign, a reduction in map size, structural adjustments, and Budlings readjustments. These changes are set to breathe new life into the gameplay and meta on Nextterra. Notably, the OB43 update for Free Fire MAX is scheduled to roll out on January 24th.

Accelerated Match Pace with Zoner Timer Update
On the battle royale front, expect an acceleration in match pace with safe zone adjustments. The second zone timer sees a reduction from 80 to 60 seconds after landing. Additionally, the second zone will now take 240 seconds to shrink, compared to the previous 230 seconds. The third zone’s shrink time drops from 75 to 50 seconds.
Vending Machine Economy Shift
Vending machines got a makeover, and now it costs more (400-500 coins) to upgrade their chips. Both regular and falling machines have cool new stuff you can get, like skill cards for characters.
