Fortnite update 23.20 has finally arrived, so it’s time to look at the patch notes with all new features including The Kid LAROI collaboration alongside the latest Falcon Scout weapon. The game finally received a proper mid-season update on January 18, bringing new content and bug fixes.

Fortnite update 23.20 patch notes

The Falcon Scout was first teased in the Chapter 4 launch trailer, and now it is being added to the game following the v23.20 update. Players will be able to find one by looking through Oathbound Chests.

The Falcon Scout will fly around the player’s current location and highlight nearby enemies and items through a red marker. It will also collect Reboot Cards and pick up fallen teammates.

Epic Games confirmed that The Kid LAROI will take over a radio station in the game, with more free content coming to the game soon. Leakers have claimed that a new emote will be coming to Fortnite as part of this collab. It will feature the song STAY by Justin Bieber featuring The Kid LAROI.

Dead Space Collaboration

Leakers have hinted that Dead Space could be the next big video game franchise to join hands with Fortnite. As per a report, the collaboration is scheduled for January 23, which would align perfectly with Dead Space Remake scheduled to launch at a later date.

Fortnite new skins and Oathbound Quests

Just like every update, players will have a lot of skins to pick from including Midseason Drop styles for Doom Slayer and Dusty, which players will be able to unlock by finishing their respective challenges.

Besides, there will be new weekly quests alongside the continuation of the narrative Oathbound Quests, which means players can get one step closer to unlocking all of those Battle Pass skins.

Fortnite bug fixes

The new update has also fixed a couple of bugs including opening the Map or Quest in split-screen causing the 2nd player’s view to turning black. Besides, the Prop Mover behavior inconsistency in Creative Mode has been fixed.
