FIFA 23: Is the game coming to Xbox Game Pass?

FIFA 23 is expected to hit the market in September 2022, but will EA’s popular football franchise come to Xbox Game Pass at launch? Well, in this article, we have discussed just that. The hype around the game is unprecedented, and fans are keen on seeing what EA has in store in this year’s Ultimate Team and Career Mode. There are several fresh features that players will definitely enjoy, including the new FUT Moments mode and crossplay support.

However, not everyone will be willing to shell out upwards of $60 on a new game. Keeping that in mind, players will be thinking if the game will be available as part of their Xbox Game Pass subscription.

Will FIFA 23 be on Xbox Game Pass?

Unfortunately, the game will not be making its way to Xbox Game Pass when it comes out on September 30. But that shouldn’t be a problem, as we have seen in the past that Game Pass owners might get access to FIFA 23 in the later months.

The game publisher EA has a long-running partnership with the service, and people who subscribe to Game Pass Ultimate even have the access to try EA Play titles included in their membership. Fortunately, the few past FIFA titles were made available on Game Pass after release, enabling players to download them without anything extra.

EA, however, hasn’t confirmed if the same will happen with FIFA 23, but with FIFA 19, 20, 21, and 22 coming to EA Play, and eventually Game Pass, we can assume that the latest entry in the franchise will also come to Game Pass.

But, it’s imperative to note that FIFA doesn’t usually hit Game Pass until a few months after its official launch. FIFA 21 was released in May after launch, and FIFA 22 didn’t make it to the service until June 2022, so don’t expect to see the new game on Game Pass until near the end of its life cycle.
