BBC Studios, the commercial production arm of the (BBC) British Broadcasting Corporation , or such all types of gaming and esports, has called for a trailer or release date for game or update game for upcoming collaborative documentary. The documentary all set for release on January 24th, is called Game and Glory. The documentary itself was first announced in October 2022 and release in 2022 November, ahead of the IEM Rio Major. At the time, CS:GO fans were invited to share their stories with the BBC and ESL Gaming and have a chance to be a part of the documentary. However, it will be launched on a YouTube channel of ESL.The film is a collaborative effort between Assel Gaming or BBC Studios, or bbc tv channels will not be available through the channels and platforms. The IEM Rio Major 2022 is scheduled to take place from 31st October to 13th November.
It will be interesting to see what BBC Studios is able to whip up by covering the entire tournament and working in tandem with ESL. This documentary is scheduled to release around two months after the tournament concludes, sometime in January 2023. Fans will most certainly be eagerly awaiting the airing of this documentary on one of the biggest tournament of their beloved game.
This is not the first time the BBC is involved with producing an esports film. The company has also promoted esports programs such as the British Esports Excel Esports to precede the fight with The Excel Esports in 2020: Excel Esports Salt, a combined documentary Game and Glory, the FIFA 21 Global Series Qualifier. The first bbc was released through Channels for The Battle for Games.
