Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2: New game trailer shows Orange Picolo

Bandai Namco Entertainment America has started showing a new trailer for the second “Hero of Justice” DLC Pack and a free update for the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 game.

Bandai Namco Entertainment America has started showing a new trailer for the second “Hero of Justice” DLC Pack and a free update for the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 game. The video shows the latest DLC character Orange Picolo and the latest raid boss, Cell Max. Both these characters are from the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero anime film. The trailer also mentions that the updates are “coming soon.”

The game’s “hero of Justice DLC Pack 1” features Gamma 1, Gamma 2, and Gohan from Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero anime film. These will be playable characters since the DLC pack is launched in last fall.

Bandai Namco Entertainment took the wraps off Dragon Ball Xeniverse 2 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC in North America and Europe back in October 2016 and for PS4 in Japan in November 2016.

Back then the company released the game for Nintendo Switch in Japan and the West in September 2017. The game was also released for Google’s now-discontinued Stadia gaming platform in December 2019.

The first installment of Dragon ball Xenoverse came out for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 in North America, Europe, and Japan in February 2015. The game was also released on PC via Steam during the same time. Until now, the game has managed to ship over 10 million copies worldwide.

Microsoft to skip E3 gaming event

Speaking of games, an IGN report claimed that Microsoft Xbox will not exhibit any of its offerings at the E3 2023 event. The company stated, “We can’t wait to host our Xbox Games Showcase on June 11 and will share more details later. We also look forward to co-streaming our event as part of E3 Digital.”

Nintendo confirmed to multiple gaming publications that it will not be attending the E3 2023 event. Nintendo’s statement to IGN pointed out that “this year’s E3 show didn’t fit into [its] plans,” but added it will “continue to be a strong supporter of the ESA and E3.”

Back in January, IGN reported that “multiple knowledgeable sources” confirmed that Microsoft Xbox, Nintendo, and Sony would not participate in E3 2023. Sony declined to appear E3 in 2019.
