Team Liu and Team Black Gun have an argument in the previous chapter of Demonic Evolution because Team Black Gun wants to attack Team Liu’s Captain. The leader of Team Black Gun insisted on a confrontation with the leader of Team Liu, but Liu was in poor health, and a fight might have ended badly for Team Liu. Instead, Ang takes over, telling Team Black Gun’s captain that he will be on the field in his stead for the combat. A heated exchange ensues, during which the opposing captain declares that he will fight exclusively against Team Liu’s leader. Ang skilfully manipulates the situation such that the team leader must face him first.
The leader of Team Black Gun falls for the bait and agrees to the terms, convinced that he can easily defeat Ang. The Captain declares that he will be using an air-bullet-shooting training gun to ensure that Ang will not be injured during the exercise. Ang mulls on the fact that in his previous incarnation, they had to learn how to use actual firearms. Ang looks at the one weapon at his disposal and declares that he will use nothing except his fists. Ang’s strength inspires admiration and envy from Team Liu’s captain.
She begins to consider the possibility that Ang is stronger than she is after witnessing Ang’s easy victory over the Squad Leader. The battle begins, and the Captain of Black Gun immediately selects a position from which he can shoot at Ang. In order to stay one step ahead of the gunfire, Ang moves at breakneck speed while dodging bullets. It would only take one bullet to hit him for the rest of them to start hitting him. Ang approaches the Captain, but at the last second he fires a miss, using the last of his energy. Team Liu triumphs in the end and quickly rises to the top of the leaderboard.
