Demon Slayer anime: New trailer reveals premiere date

The official Twitter account for the Demon Slayer anime has announced that the TV anime will be airing on April 9 on JST Fuji TV with a one-hour special. The account posted the second promotional video and key visual. The video shows the opening theme song “Kizuna no Kiseki” by MAN WITH A MISSION and milet.

The main cast will be returning for the new arc along with director Haruo Sotozaki, character designer, and chief animation director Akira Matsushima, the animation studio. Just days ahead of the premiere, there will be two specials for the previous Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc anime on April 1 and April 8.

“World Tour Jōei: Kimetsu no Yaiba Jōgen Shūketsu, Soshite Katanakaji no Sato e”, the theatrical screens of the anime started on February 3 in 418 theatres in Japan. The film started screening in MX4D, 4DX, and Dolby Cinema on February 25. The screenings showed episodes 10  and 1 of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc, alongside the first Swordsmith Village Arc episode.

The film will be released in North America soon and will play in theatres in over 95 countries and territories. The film also managed to rank #1 in its opening weekend and managed to sell 813,000 tickets, and earned 1,158,765,410 yen in its first three days in Japan.

The film has sold over 2.26 million tickets and earned a total of 3,190,289,400 yen. The first TV anime of Koyoharu Gotouge’s Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga was released in April 2019. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train Arc, a 7-episode arc that adapts the Mugen Train film, premiered in October 2021.

Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun anime Hindi dub added

Crunchyroll has started streaming a Hindi dub for the TV anime adaptation of Iro Aida’s Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun. As of now, the streaming platform has hosted the first three episodes of the dub. The anime made its debut in January 2020 in Japan and had 12 episodes.

Crunchyroll describes the story:

“Kamome Academy is rumored to have many mysteries, the strangest of which involves the mischievous ghost of Hanako-kun. When occult-loving high schooler Nene Yashiro accidentally becomes bonded to him, she uncovers a hidden world of supernatural beings. Now the two of them are conspiring to keep the peace between student and supernatural—that is, if they can only stay out of trouble themselves.”

Masaomi Ando will be directing the anime at Lerche. The series scripts were written by Yasuhiro Nakanishi. Mayuka Itou designed the characters, and Yuji Higa was the producer of the animation. Yoji Ikuta of the musical unit “Chibaku Shonen Band” and ZING performed the opening theme song “No. 7.” Besides, the ending theme song “Tiny Light” was performed by Akari Kito.
