Chapter 140 picks up just where Chapter 139 left off, with Momo attacking the cook with her Moe Moe Tri-beam assault. After Momo’s explosion, the cook topples over a heap of food. She expresses her gratitude to Zuma after he helps Momo to her feet. He suggests Momo borrow the gold ball, but Momo declines. Momo should have the Golden Ball, says Zuma, since he has used up all of his power.
In addition, he thinks Momo is stronger than him. A chef trading card and two strange documents appear out of nowhere. This document contains information regarding the chef’s card. According to the paperwork, Momo and Zuma can tap into the chef’s abilities by indulging on his delicacies. After Zuma consumes one of the chef’s delicacies, his limbs transform into a pair of doughnuts. Zuma is now unable to control his springy legs, and Momo laughs at him.
After trying a lollipop, Momo gets sticky. She isn’t fond of her new abilities and wants to know how she and Zuma can get back to normal. Before their official meeting, she showed Zuma a picture of the knight she had beaten and the chef she had vanquished. When Momo sees a knight card, she trades her sticky powers for his shield.
Momo passes the card to Zuma. Instead of Momo, Zuma gets the knight’s shield. The shield vanishes the second time Momo touches the card. According to Momo, they will be able to win this diorama game world if they can overcome the final bosses. Momo also tells Zuma about the unsavory consequences of her Moe Moe Tri-beam.
Zuma advises that they remember these cards when they face up against the future bosses. At the moment, he thinks he and Momo should eat more of the chef’s dispersed dishes. Zuma is still looking for his Geta Sandles before then. Next, we see the chef’s card up close. The card adds in fine language that they become permanent residents if they eat anything from this world, but the two don’t notice.
