COD Mobile Season 4: Wild Dogs is live and almost half done. Players are currently busy grinding and pushing their ranks, discovering new legendary characters, and completing Battle Passes. However, the upcoming season is drawing even closer, and a huge drop in content can be expected for Season 5.
Season 5 will see new weapons appear in the game, and leaks are out for brand new content. New legendary weapons, legendary characters and more can be expected in the coming season. The developers have added two new weapons to the game in the current season: the Koshka sniper rifle and the Kali Sticks melee. Both can be unlocked for free by grinding the Battle Pass and completing missions. Next season, a new assault rifle is expected to steal the show based on the latest leaks. With the World Championships in place, only time will tell how the new weapons will shape the competitive Meta in the game. COD Mobile leaks hint at mythic Oden assault rifle.

COD Mobile leaks hint at mythic Oden assault rifle for upcoming seasons

Popular COD mobile leakers have provided images from test server game files, which clearly show Odeon on the list for next season. Since players got a new legendary character this season, a legendary blueprint of the new assault rifle will be released in the upcoming season. “Odeon-Divine Smith” is the current placeholder title for the mythic blueprint. This may not be the weapon’s final name and will most likely change when the final version is added to the game in the coming season.

The Oden is a bullpup assault rifle that is featured extensively in Call of Duty Modern Warfare. It is a slow rifle that deals heavy damage per shot. Players will find similarities between the Oden and the current Man-O-War (MoW) assault rifle. However, the Odeon fire rate can be expected to be lower than MoW. Players can expect the new weapon to come with attachments that can make a difference in the rate of fire.

Damage will be a significant factor for Oden as players can easily sit back and shoot long-range enemies. Based on test server statistics, Oden will only be able to eliminate enemies with a single headshot, followed by a body shot. As Season 5 nears its launch, players can expect more information to be uploaded on the test servers. COD Mobile Season 5 is expected to release in the last week of May 2022.
