The mission ‘A Helping Hand’ is part of the Legion faction for Warzone 2.0 DMZ Season 2. Players need to meet three specific criteria on the Season 1 map, Al Mazrah. The first is to locate a bottle of Gun Oil when it is found inside the Enfer Store in the Sa’id Shopping Center. With gun cleaning oil on hand, put it in the back of the store along with C4 and an electric drill. After keeping these three things down the mission will be completed successfully.
Gun Oil can be a very difficult item to find because it drops randomly and is really rare compared to other items in the DMZ. AI enemies also do not have this item. But, it is possible to find out. The best place where you can find Gun Oil is north of the Mawijeh Marshlands. There’s a construction site in the area where you’ll have your best chance of finding Gun Oil. You may be one of the unlucky few who doesn’t get gun oil at this location. If that’s the case, try that spot again. Gun Oil has the highest spawn rate in Mawijeh Marshlands, so it will eventually spawn there.
On the face of it, gun cleaning oil being $500 and a ‘regular’ item should be an easy pickup. However, it is not at all that many people do not see any one of these in the match. So, how can you increase your chances of finding some of this gun cleaning oil? Well, there are some specific places where it has a higher spawn rate.
These areas are more industrialized places, with construction taking place within Al Majra. While you might hope to potentially find Gun Oil at Police Academy or similar, you’re going to be out of luck, and your best bet is to stick to the above suggestion. If you’d like a more specific area to search, we’ve had the most success with the construction site area within the G4 quadrant of the map.
The site is full of toolboxes that contain screwdrivers, jumper cables, and other similar items. This also includes gun oil. The best thing about this place is that no enemy will thrive here. So, you can explore this area as you wish.
