Recap of Chapter 248

The contest between V and Z is not over yet. Bachira, Otaya, Meguru, Sae, and Reo were on Team V, while Rin, Kunigami, Shindou, Isagi, and Nagi were on Team Z. Everyone was hoping to secure first place in the Blue Lock project since this was the last round.

The players were growing increasingly agitated as the action progressed into the second half. At 2-2, the game came down to a game-winning goal. With only ten minutes remaining in the match, the pressure was on for both teams.

As the first offender for Team Z, Isagi charges toward Team V’s goal. Bashira instantly follows him and attempts to stop Isagi from assaulting him. It was well-known that Bashira, as Captain of Team V, was dependable and skilled in defense.

Nevertheless, an unanticipated feint allowed Isagi to bypass his defenses. Rin was following up with Isagi and running towards the goal, so he chose to send the ball to Rin in hopes of scoring. However, he saw Rin wasn’t looking at the goal as he was ready to pass the ball.

Being the “King of Strikers” had a profound impact on Rin’s upbringing because of how hard and demanding his father was. Isagi could see Rin wasn’t quite prepared to accept the ball because of her hesitation. He was becoming increasingly anxious and distracted from his objective.
