Niko and Isagi will renew their long-standing rivalry in Blue Lock Chapter 218, reviving one of the series’ classic rivalries. As we observe how the characters have developed during the bouts, the rivalries keep shifting, and it now appears that Barou and Isagi will be facing each other. Since Niko was the one who initially fueled Isagi’s ego, his development shouldn’t have come as a shock.

Niko is one of the most unassuming people you’ll ever meet in the real world. His ability to observe details is unparalleled, however. Isagi’s reawakening would not have occurred without him. However, he doesn’t use his abilities in the same way as Isagi does.

What To Expect in the Next Chapter of Blue Lock

In Blue Lock Chapter 218, Isagi will witness yet another application of Meta vision, one that he is unable to replicate. In the previous episode, as he attempted to take the free ball, Neko thwarted him. In the very first game, it was their opponent who stoked the fires of pride.

Meanwhile, Kaiser and Ness will devise a strategy to deal with Lorenzo and realize their objectives. When Ness realized that Kaiser would be paying him less attention, he felt his irritation levels rise to an all-time high. Ness seemed like the type who admired Kaiser and would do anything to get Kaiser to focus on him, but he hasn’t had much success with that strategy as of late.

Recap of the Previous Chapter

In Chapter 217, after Isagi’s team finally scored, the Ubers celebrated their victory. Because of how well they worked together, nobody on their squad could stop them. Barou was his normal arrogant self, and he mocked Isagi for anticipating his next move.

After thinking about what had happened in the previous second, Isagi understood that what Barou had done was indeed unbelievable. It wasn’t just that he discovered there is more than one vision; he also saw that Barou’s vision is distinct from Isagi’s. Isagi and his friends get together to strategize about how to handle the impending crisis.

Isagi understood that the Ubers were too far ahead strategically for anything they could throw at them to succeed. He echoed what Noa had said at the match’s outset, stressing the importance of winning in one-on-one situations. After that, he and his companions split off, staking out positions, and getting to work on their counterattack.
