However, as she nears the end of her life, she wishes she had known the answer to the question she posed decades ago.
The fact that her grandfather is a good person who refused to discuss the topic made her grandmother chuckle a little. Chisato decided to go for a walk once she started thinking about Taiki again. She keeps thinking back to when Taiki would join her for badminton practices at the same time every week.
This is similar to what happens in the previous chapter, when Taiki celebrates New Year’s Day alone. But now his emotions and thoughts are more distinct, and he knows the nature of the relationship he has found himself in. As the chapter came to a close, he realized he was in the kind of love where he would do anything to spend time with Chisato.
Chisato, who has grown aloof from Taiki, will come to terms with her affections for him in Chapter 102 of Blue Box. Chisato lacks the maturity to understand how she feels about the situation. When she and Taiki became too close, she did what she could to keep them apart. She’s only in Japan because she’s a serious basketball player.
She doesn’t have an internal monologue, therefore we don’t know how she’s feeling at any given moment.
