The Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) Masters Series Season 2 is currently underway, captivating mobile gamers across India. Commencing on August 4 and scheduled to conclude on August 27 in Delhi, this thrilling event, organized by NODWIN Gaming in partnership with Star Sports, boasts a staggering prize pool of INR 2.1 crore, making it one of the most substantial non-publisher competition rewards. The BGMS Season 2 kicks off with the exciting Launch Week, where each of the 24 participating teams competes in six matches over three days. The points accumulated during this phase will play a crucial role in determining the overall standings of the League Stage.
After the Launch Week, the teams will be seeded into three groups, each comprising eight teams. The top 16 teams will advance to Super Weekend 1, while the remaining teams will look forward to League Week 2.
The four leading teams from the combined standings of Launch Week and Super Weekend 1 will progress to Super Weekend 2, concurrently participating in League Week 2. During League Week 2, all 24 teams will fiercely compete, with only the top 12 moving forward to Super Weekend 2.
In the highly anticipated Grand Finale, the four teams that top the overall standings will secure their coveted spots, while teams ranked fifth to 20th will enter the Playoffs. Unfortunately, the four teams occupying the bottom positions (21st to 24th) will face elimination from BGMS Season 2.
During the Playoffs, the 12 remaining finalists will battle it out in six intense matches amongst 16 teams, vying for a place in the ultimate showdown.
The pinnacle of excitement arrives with the BGMS Season 2 Grand Finale, where the top four teams from the League Stage and the 12 finalists from the Playoffs will clash for the prestigious title. The squad that amasses the highest points from all the matches will emerge victorious as the BGMS Season 2 winner.
