The Indian esports scene took a major hit earlier this year with the suspension of two of the most popular battle royale titles at Crafton’s BGMI and Garena’s Free Fire. The two mobile titles became a massive hit in India before being banned by the Indian government amid security concerns. Since then, the community has been waiting to see if developers and the government are working on scrapping the suspension.So far, we haven’t heard much progress on the reversal. While most of the rumors show no signs of a return for BGMI and Free Fire, some have suggested that the games could potentially make a comeback before the end of the year. With Bhanushali’s insight into the matter, fans are expecting a lot more than ever for the end of the suspension.However, with no communication from the developer side, fans remain in the dark. It will be interesting to see whether BGMI and Free Fire can make a strong comeback in 2022, with less than two months to go before the end of the year.

Alot of users have quit game for the same reason.Amid the uncertainty over the return of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) and Free Fire (FF) to the country, Orangutan Gaming owner Yash Bhanushali has made some controversial claims about both the games in a recent tweet. He claimed that some good news related to esports is coming soon and welcomed both sports. The tweet has created a buzz in both the BGMI and Free Fire communities, both of whom are eagerly awaiting the game’s return.

BGMI was removed from the Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store on July 28, and MeitY later confirmed that the game had been blocked under Section 69A of the IT Act, 2000. On the other hand, the Indian government banned Free Fire with 53. Other apps in February 2022.

BGMI fans have reason to be optimistic about the sport’s return. Crafton recently added new tutorial video links to BGMI and the support section of the game’s website. Furthermore, some creators claimed that the game will return, including Abhijeet “Ghatak” Andhare and Saumya “Soumraj” Raj. Unfortunately, this is not the case with Free Fire. Since the game’s ban, there has been little talk about the sport’s return.Notably, an alternate version of the game, Free Fire Max, is still playable in India.
