BGIS 2023 offers an impressive prize pool of INR 2 crore, to be shared among the top 16 teams and outstanding individual performers who demonstrate exceptional skills during the competition. The tournament consists of various phases, each contributing to the excitement and challenge.
The BGIS 2023 “The Grind” phase has already commenced, with 256 invited teams from the inaugural season of BGIS. These teams are divided into two groups of 128 each.
The best 2048 teams from the in-game qualifiers will proceed to BGIS 2023. Teams will need to play 15 matches with their registered squad members, with the top 10 matches contributing to the overall result.
The 2048 teams from the online qualifiers will enter BGIS 2023 Round 1. They will be divided into 128 groups, and the top 3 teams from each group (384 teams) along with 96 high-ranked teams will advance to Round 2 of BGIS.
In Round 2, the 480 teams from Round 1 will compete with the 32 bottom teams from “The Grind.” Out of a total of 512 teams, only 224 will qualify for Round 3.
The 224 qualified teams from Round 2 will now face the top 32 teams from “The Grind.” The top 4 teams from each group (64 teams) will advance to Round 4, while teams ranked from 65 to 80 (16 teams) will move on to the Losers Bracket.
The top 4 teams from each group (16 teams in total) will enter the semi-finals of BGIS 2023. Meanwhile, the remaining 48 teams will compete in the Losers Bracket, where 16 teams from Round 3 already reside.
A total of 48 teams from Round 4 and 16 teams from Round 3 will compete for a spot in the semi-finals. 16 teams from the losers bracket will advance to the semi-finals.
The semi-finals will feature 16 teams from Round 4 and 16 teams from the losers bracket. Only the top 16 teams will secure their spot in the Grand Finals of BGIS 2023.
The top 16 teams from the semi-finals will face off in the BGIS 2023 Grand Finals, a spectacular LAN Event with an audience presence. This electrifying showdown will determine the ultimate champions.
