BGIS 2023 Prize Pool and Format

BGIS 2023 offers an impressive prize pool of INR 2 crore, to be shared among the top 16 teams and outstanding individual performers who demonstrate exceptional skills during the competition. The tournament consists of various phases, each contributing to the excitement and challenge.

The Grind: From 256 to 64 Teams

The BGIS 2023 “The Grind” phase has already commenced, with 256 invited teams from the inaugural season of BGIS. These teams are divided into two groups of 128 each.

• Week 1: The first 128 teams compete, and 64 teams advance to Week 3.
• Week 2: The remaining 128 teams compete, and 64 teams advance to Week 4.
• Week 3: The first 64 teams compete, and 32 teams qualify for the next round.
• Week 4: The remaining 64 teams compete, and 32 teams qualify for the next round.
• Week 5: The top 32 teams qualify for Round 3, while the bottom 32 teams move to Round 2 of the main event.
• A total of 64 teams will qualify for BGIS 2023 Round 2 and Round 3.

In-game Qualifiers: 2048 Teams Compete

The best 2048 teams from the in-game qualifiers will proceed to BGIS 2023. Teams will need to play 15 matches with their registered squad members, with the top 10 matches contributing to the overall result.

Round 1: 2048 Teams Battle

The 2048 teams from the online qualifiers will enter BGIS 2023 Round 1. They will be divided into 128 groups, and the top 3 teams from each group (384 teams) along with 96 high-ranked teams will advance to Round 2 of BGIS.

Round 2: 480 Teams Move Forward

In Round 2, the 480 teams from Round 1 will compete with the 32 bottom teams from “The Grind.” Out of a total of 512 teams, only 224 will qualify for Round 3.

Round 3: The Battle Intensifies

The 224 qualified teams from Round 2 will now face the top 32 teams from “The Grind.” The top 4 teams from each group (64 teams) will advance to Round 4, while teams ranked from 65 to 80 (16 teams) will move on to the Losers Bracket.

Round 4: The Semifinals

The top 4 teams from each group (16 teams in total) will enter the semi-finals of BGIS 2023. Meanwhile, the remaining 48 teams will compete in the Losers Bracket, where 16 teams from Round 3 already reside.

Losers Bracket: The Battle for Redemption

A total of 48 teams from Round 4 and 16 teams from Round 3 will compete for a spot in the semi-finals. 16 teams from the losers bracket will advance to the semi-finals.

Semi-Finals: The Final Showdown

The semi-finals will feature 16 teams from Round 4 and 16 teams from the losers bracket. Only the top 16 teams will secure their spot in the Grand Finals of BGIS 2023.

Grand Finals: The Epic LAN Event

The top 16 teams from the semi-finals will face off in the BGIS 2023 Grand Finals, a spectacular LAN Event with an audience presence. This electrifying showdown will determine the ultimate champions.

BGIS 2023 Registration Process

To participate in the BGIS 2023, follow these steps:

• Visit the official Battlegrounds Mobile India website.
• Click on the BGIS 2023 Registration Button.
• Provide your team’s information, including Team Name, In-Game Names, and Character IDs of all five teammates.
• Verify yourself and your team members using government-proof IDs like Aadhaar card or PAN card.
• Submit the completed form.

Registration opens on July 24 and will remain open until August 2nd. Verification procedures will take place from August 3rd to August 9th. Ensure that all information provided during registration is accurate to avoid elimination during the verification process.
