Dice has rolled out a fresh update for the game. Battlefield 2042 Update 4.1 comes with several improvements and changes to Specialists, weapons, and vehicles. Battlefield 2042 is the latest entry in the iconic franchise. It is set in the near future and is claimed to be the biggest title of the franchise so far. However, upon launch, it was met with mixed responses.

Battlefield 2042 missed some staple franchise features and also completely overhauled the tried-and-true class system. The system was similar to that of Call of Duty or other hero-shooters such as Overwatch and Valorant. Update 4.1 is the latest update for Battlefield 2042 that tries to fix these issues. Battlefield 2042 Update 4.1

The update focuses to fix issues as well as updating All-Out Warfare rotations. It also brings some balance changes to weapons and Specialists.

  • The update reduces the overall power of Boris’s SG-36 Sentry Gun.
  • Angel won’t be able to provide Armor Plates through his Supply Bag.
  • Stock weapons now handle better through improved base recoil.
  • All-Out Warfare playlists have been updated with new setups.

General changes

  • Besides, Vehicle Aim Sensitivity and Transport Vehicle Freelook Sensitivity Controller settings can now correctly apply their effects each time.
  • The update has also improved Aim Assist while aiming at moving targets.
  • Aim Assist won’t incorrectly acquire targets through thin obstacles anymore.
  • When players are not ranking up, they won’t see the “You have been promoted screen” during the End of Round
  • Delivered improvements that will help players reduce input lag
  • The update has also adjusted Trigger Weight to make sure that inputs feel more responsive
