Apex Legends: All We Know About New Legends Uplink and Caliber

Earlier in March this year, a Reddit post on the official subreddit of Apex Legends leaked information about nine upcoming Legends currently in development. These include the now released Newcastle, Vantage and Catalyst as well as others such as Uplink, Scrire and Calibre. So far, Vantage has remained fairly faithful to Leek while some of Catalyst’s abilities (notably his tactical) have been changed. According to the leak, Caliber is an arms dealer in the Titanfall universe. He was previously thought to be a support character, but new leaks reveal that Caliber is an Assault Legend. Note that these capacities are subject to change.However, a major leak from the Apex Development version, which is highly private and should only be available internally in Respawn, has been uncovered, showing 9 Apex Legends unreleased legendaries and their abilities and upcoming Upcoming Apex Legends Uplink and Caliber.

• Passive: Weapon Sling – A sling that lets you store an additional, third weapon.
• Tactical: Suppressor Turret – Deploys a temporary turret with a copy of your active weapon.
• Ultimate: Auto Loader – Deploys a box that loads ammo directly into nearby players’ existing weapons.

When it comes to the uplink, old leaks suggest that their capabilities are as follows:

• Passive: Network Communion – Players gain 25% of the recovery effect used while in signal range.
• Tactical: Shield Satellite – Releases a satellite that allows teammates to regenerate their shields and regenerate them.
• Ultimate: Immortality Relay Beacon – Deploys a satellite beacon that prevents allies in signal range from being down.

So far it’s unclear what the passive will do, but it looks like Uplink will get 25% of the health and shield regeneration used by teammates if they’re close enough. However, according to YouTuber Thordon Smash, the uplink may have been terminated.

The developer has not yet confirmed the release date for the upcoming Legends. However, in May of this year, Respawn senior character designer Devan McGuire told Dexerto that they would slow down the release of new giants because it is becoming harder to make them “unique, without being overpowering, or too distinctive”. Fans are calling on the developers to look into more pressing issues like gameplay bugs, audio issues, and hackers. No new weapons have been released since C.A.R.
