The India qualifiers for the Skysports SEA (South East Asia) Championships 2022 ended on 16 November, with Velocity Gaming and Godsquad (Global Esports) advancing to the main event, which is scheduled to run from 23 to 25 November. With this, the Skyesports SEA Championship, an official Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) OFF//SEASON event, has entered the playoff phase. Four teams have been locked and two Indian teams will be flown to Bangkok, Thailand to play on a level playing field.Skysports also announced that it will host an exciting Skysports SEA Championship afterparty with top players and creators in Bangkok.

Skyesports partnered with Riot Games to bring you this official VCT OFF//SEASON event with a total prize pool of $30,000 USD. After an intense qualifier stage, four teams made it to the playoff stage which will take place from 23 to 25 November.Four teams made their way to this final stage by playing separate qualifiers for SEA and India. The teams are as follows:

  • Velocity Gaming – India
  • GodSquad (Global Esports) – India
  • Made in Thailand (MITH) – SEA
  • Bleed Esports – SEA

To ensure a level playing field between the SEA and Indian teams, Skyesports will send two Indian teams – Velocity Gaming and Godsquad – to Bangkok so that they can play on the same ping. Skysports also said that both the teams will play from fully equipped bootcamps. Meanwhile, Bled Esports and MITH will play remotely.Commenting on the Skysports SEA Championship – Valorant, Shiva Nandi, Founder & CEO, Skysports said, “Our decision to send Indian teams to Thailand to eliminate ping differences is based on our commitment to ensure top-notch and fair action for fans to enjoy. in line with our commitment.
