There might soon be a second Elemental Dragon added to League of Legends: Wild Rift. Data miners have found evidence that the game may include an Ice Dragon in one of the forthcoming patch patches. The Infernal, Ocean, Mountain, and Elder Dragons are the four different varieties of Elemental Dragons that currently exist in Wild Rift. Except for the Elder Dragon, which only has a brief but potent buff, these dragons all offer a variety of permanent team buffs when killed. The Ice Dragon’s release in Wild Rift has not yet been formally confirmed by Riot Games. Data scientists believe that it might arrive in May 2023, nevertheless. For those who are new to the game, Elemental Dragons are powerful creatures that provide permanent team buffs when slain. Each dragon provides a different kind of buff, except for the Elder Dragon which gives a temporary but potent buff. These dragons play a crucial role in the game as they can greatly affect the outcome of team fights.
According to data miner ChowZ, the Ice Dragon will be included in the game during the patch 4.2 update. The update is expected to arrive sometime in May 2023. It is possible that more information about the Ice Dragon will be revealed between May 15th and 25th.
Unfortunately, there is no official description of the Ice Dragon yet. However, ChowZ’s fan concept from July 2022 can give us a glimpse of what the dragon might look like. It is important to note, though, that this fan concept does not reflect the actual buff description of the Ice Dragon.
Players may recall that the Cloud Dragon was removed from the game in 2022. Riot Games claimed that it provided less benefit compared to the other Elemental Dragons in the game. Despite this, there has been no replacement for the Cloud Dragon yet, unlike in the PC version of the game where the Hextech Dragon was introduced.
The arrival of the Ice Dragon will likely bring a new dynamic to the game as players will need to adapt to its unique buff. It will also provide more potential strategies for teams to explore, making gameplay even more exciting and challenging. The Ice Dragon will soon be joining the roster of Elemental Dragons in League of Legends: Wild Rift. Though there is no official description yet, players can expect exciting new gameplay possibilities when it arrives.
