The third and final game of the T20I series between Zimbabwe and Afghanistan will take place at the Harare Sports Club in Harare on June 14. Afghanistan have already won the series and they will try to complete a series whitewash whereas Zimbabwe will try to end the series on a winning note as well. However, Afghanistan skipper Mohammad Nabi won the toss in the second T20I and elected to bat first. On the back of a fifty from Najibullah Zadran and a cameo from Nabi, they put up 170/5 on the board. Zimbabwe crumbled under the pressure as only three batters managed to reach the double digits, finishing their innings at 149/7 in 20 overs as well.
Meanwhile, the pitch at the Harare Sports Club helps the batters. And, the batters enjoy batting on the surface as the ball comes nicely onto the bat. However, the bowlers will have to be extra careful with their lines and lengths while bowling on this surface as well. On the other hand, Clear skies will be seen on Tuesday whereas temperatures in Harare are likely to range between 8 and 22 degrees Celsius as well. And, it will be interesting to see who will have the last laugh.
