Asia Lions have made it through to the next stage and will be hoping to end the league phase on a high note
In the final game of the group stage in Legends League Cricket as World Giants lock horns with the Asia Lions at West End Park International Cricket Stadium, Doha, Qatar. World Giants, who are on top of the table with four points from three games, are already qualified along with their counterparts and now might be testing their bench strength. They easily defeated Indian Maharajas in the last game, where just 137 were required for victory. On the other hand, Asia Lions, too, have made it through to the next stage and will be hoping to end the league phase on a high note, as they were thrashed by the Indian side in their previous game.
Both teams will need to get their best game out today, as we are heading into the business end of the tournament. The teams will also have one eye on increasing the net run rate as well, The Asia Giants has been below par in their fielding hasn’t been up to mark and the bowlers haven’t been able to pick up wickets at crucial junctures of the various games.
