The tenth match of WPL 2023 will be played between UP Warriorz Women and Mumbai Indians Women at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on March 12. UP Warriorz placed third in the points table whereas Mumbai Indians Women stayed unbeaten so far and placed at the top of the points table.
After losing to Delhi Capitals, UP Warriorz registered a convincing win by 10 wickets. They were chasing a total of 138 and played a stunning knock. While Devika Vaidya scored 31, Alyssa Healy set the stage on fire with an unbeaten 96 off 47 with 18 fours and a six. They took 13 overs to reach the target. On the other hand, Mumbai Indians Women won by 8 wickets against Delhi Capitals Women in their last game while chasing a below-par total of 106. However, fans can expect a thrilling game as well.
However, Harmanpreet Kaur, Mumbai Indians captain said: “Today our bowlers did really well. They’re making my job easier. Whoever comes in is eager to bowl. When you have so many options, your job is so easy. Credit to our bowlers. Bowling according to the field is key in T20s and we’re able to do that. After the last game we all discussed that we bowled some bad balls. Yastika and Hayley gave us a really good start. Now the tournament is going to start because the pitches are going to be on the slower side.”

Alyssa Healy, UP Warriorz captain said: “Really pleased with our bowlers tonight to keep them under 200. Full credit to the spinners as they held their nerve and took wickets at crucial times. It was spin to win tonight. It was a good batting wicket and the spinners did a fine job. Shweta is only a baby and coming into such a competition is difficult. We watched Vaidya in the recent series (against India) and wondered what she was doing at number 7, she played a fine knock and took the pressure off me. We just set the platform early and by the timeout we needed run a ball, we didn’t want to drag it too long.”
