Vikramjit Singh, a talented young cricketer of Indian descent, has emerged as one of the most promising players in the Netherlands cricket team. Born on January 9, 2003, in Punjab, India, Singh’s family had a history of moving between India and the Netherlands before finally settling in the latter when he was seven years old. Sing’s passion for cricket started at an early age, and at eleven, he caught the attention of Peter Borren, the captain of the Netherlands team.

Borren encouraged him to join VRA Amsterdam club cricket and provided valuable coaching. Singh also honed his skills at Amit Uniyal’s cricket academy in Chandigarh. Singh made his first appearance for the Netherlands under-19 cricket team in 2019. He demonstrated his skill by finishing as the second-highest run-scorer at the Under-19 World Cup Europe Qualifier. Vikramjit Singh made his debut for the Netherlands national cricket team in June 2019 during an ODI match against Scotland. Since then, he has become a regular member of the Netherlands ODI team and has also played in several T20 International (T20I) matches.

Singh is not only a skilled batsman but also excels as a right-arm medium pace bowler, making valuable contributions with the ball. He showcased his abilities by claiming four wickets against Scotland in an ODI match in 2022. With his immense talent and versatility, Vikramjit Singh has the potential to take Dutch cricket to new heights.
