Sean’s mother Patricia Mckillop is a field hockey player. Chantelle has an experience of 12 years as a playball coach. In 2011, she got the opportunity of becoming a playball coach and she grabbed it. Chantelle did her schooling from Petra High School in Bulawayo. She has been a part of the hockey team, water polo team, athletics team and swimming team. Chantelle and Sean have known each other for quite a long time now, as they used to date before getting married. Sean and Chantelle got married in the month of April in 2015.

Sean is a versatile player who bats and bowls with his left hand and uses an orthodox left arm bowling action. Sean’s mother is Patricia Mckillop, and his father is Collin Williams. Sean currently serves as the Zimbabwe Test team’s captain. When Hamilton Masakadza stepped down as captain of the Zimbabwean team, Sean acquired that role. He took the reins as captain of the Zimbabwean team for the first time in September of this year. Sean led the Zimbabwean T20 team at the Singapore Tri Nations series in 2019–20 for the first time.

Due to certain problems with fees and contract between him and the board, Sean Williams excluded himself from the first Test match against Pakistan in 2013. Sean hit 76 runs against the United Arab Emirates on February 19, 2015, during the course of the ICC World Cup, to secure the victory. Sean’s first Test century came in 2016 at Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, against New Zealand. He took 148 deliveries to score 119 runs. In Zimbabwe, this was the quickest Test century. In April 2019, Sean recorded Zimbabwe’s quickest ODI century while playing against the United Arab Emirates. In 2020, Sean received the test team captaincy for their series against Sri Lanka. Sean managed to draw the second game while scoring his second Test century. In Zimbabwe’s home series, this was the first drawn Test match since 2017.
