West Indies all-rounder Jason Holder was born on 5 November 1991. He is a right-arm fast-bowling all-rounder who made his One Day International (ODI) debut in 2013. Meanwhile, his Test debut came in June 2014. In June 2019, Holder took part in his 100th ODI match for the West Indies. Moreover, he is the first West Indies male player to take a hat-trick in T20I also.

However, he made his T20I debut against New Zealand in January 2014 as well. After doing well in ODIs, he was selected for the Test squad in June 2014 and made his Test debut on 26 June 2014 against New Zealand also. At 23 years, 72 days, he became the youngest-ever West Indian captain as well. On 4 September 2015, he also became the captain of the Test team and became the second youngest test skipper of all time for the West Indies and the 15th youngest of all time for any Test Nation as well. On 2 July 2017, he scalped his maiden ODI five-wicket haul (5/27) as well.

On 15 March 2018, Jason Holder became the fastest player for his side, in terms of matches, to score 1,000 runs and take 100 wickets in ODIs (74) as well. In January 2019, he scored his first double-century in first-class cricket against England at the Kensington Oval. His 202 not out was the third-highest individual score by a number eight batsman in the longer format as well. However, on 17 June 2019, in the match against Bangladesh, Holder featured in his 100th ODI match as well.

On 27 June 2019, against India, he played his 150th international match for the West Indies whereas on 1 July 2019, in the match against Sri Lanka, Holder became the first captain of the West Indies to take 100 wickets in ODIs as well. Moreover, on 31 August 2019, in the second Test against India, he picked up his 100th Test wicket. In January 2022, Jason Holder claimed a fifer for 27 runs, to take his first five-wicket haul in T20Is. He also became the first bowler for West Indies to take a hat-trick in T20Is as well. He also became the fourth bowler to take four wickets in four balls in the shorter format as well.
