Team India captain Harmanpreet Kaur is not married yet. And, there is no information available about her relationship too. Kaur was born on 8 March 1989 and captains India Women’s National Cricket Team across formats. In November 2018, she became the first woman for India to score a hundred in a WT20I match whereas in October 2019, during the series against South Africa, she became the first player for India, male or female, to play in 100 international Twenty20 matches as well.
Her ODI debut came against Pakistan women’s team in March 2009 at Bradman Oval, Bowral. In June 2009, she made her Twenty20 International debut against England women’s team at County Ground, Taunton as well. However, she was named as Indian women’s captain for the 2012 Women’s Twenty20 Asia Cup final, as the then captain Mithali Raj and vice-captain Jhulan Goswami were out because of injuries as well. Meanwhile, her Test debut came in August 2014 against England women’s cricket team at Sir Paul Getty’s Ground, Wormsley as well.
In June 2016, Harmanpreet Kaur became the first Indian cricketer to play in the overseas Twenty20 league. Sydney Thunder, the Women’s Big Bash League franchise, bought her for the 2016–17 season as well. However, on 20 July 2017, she smashed 171 (115) against Australia in the 2017 Women’s Cricket World Cup semi-final in Derby and helped India reach the final as well but they eventually lost in the final. Kaur’s 171 is currently the second-highest score by an Indian batter in women’s one-day internationals, after India all-rounder Deepti Sharma’s 188 runs as well. In September 2021, Melbourne Renegades bought her for the 2021–22 Women’s Big Bash League season. In February 2023, in the inaugural WPL auction, Mumbai Indians bought her for a whopping ₹1.80 crores and she led The Mumbai Indians to win the inaugural WPL trophy as well.
