Darren Bravo was born on 6th February 1989. He is a West Indies cricketer who plays domestic cricket for Trinidad and Tobago and international cricket for the West Indies as well. Bravo is the younger half brother of veteran West Indies cricketer Dwayne Bravo and his mother is the first cousin of legendary cricketer Brian Lara as well. Bravo made his international debut in the first ODI at Sabina Park where he scored 19 from 16 balls. However, on his Test debut against Sri Lanka, he smashed 58 from 159 balls. He went on to hit 80 in the second Test and 68 in the third Test as well. He scored his maiden Test hundred in the second Test to help his team to a 1–0 series victory against Bangladesh. The knock of 195 from 297 balls was the ninth-highest score by a West Indian batsman in the subcontinent as well.
