Talented speedster Shivam Mavi was born on 26 November 1998. He is an Indian professional cricketer. In December 2017, he was added to Team India’s squad for the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. And, in January 2018, he was bought by none other than the Kolkata Knight Riders franchise in the 2018 IPL auction as well. He made his Twenty20 debut for the Kolkata Knight Riders in the 2018 Indian Premier League on 14 April 2018 as well.
Shivam Mavi made his List A debut for India A against South Africa A in the Quadrangular Series on 27 August 2018 as well. However, on the opening day of the 2018–19 Vijay Hazare Trophy in September 2018, Mavi took a hat-trick while playing for Uttar Pradesh against Saurashtra as well. However, his first-class debut came for Uttar Pradesh in the 2018–19 Ranji Trophy on 1 November 2018 as well. On his Ranji debut, Mavi took a 4-fer as well while playing against Goa in Kanpur, as Uttar Pradesh bowled Goa out for just 152 as well.

However, in his second first-class match against Odisha, he claimed his maiden five-wicket haul as well. In December 2018, he was added to Team India’s squad for the 2018 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup. In November 2019, he replaced the injured Arshdeep Singh in India’s squad for the 2019 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup as well. And, in February 2022, he was bought by the Kolkata Knight Riders in the auction for the 2022 Indian Premier League tournament as well.
However, Shivam Mavi received his maiden T20I call-ups. He recently bagged huge contracts in the IPL 2023 mini-auction where he was signed up by defending champion Gujarat Titans for INR 6 crore as well.
