Virat Kohli clapped whole-heartedly following Glenn Maxwell's half-century, indicating his happiness at his teammate's success.
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper Virat Kohli is quite enthusiastic when it comes to celebrations. He works extremely hard on the field and looks to enjoy every moment of the game. The same enthusiasm with regard to celebrations was visible in his reaction, following Glenn Maxwell’s second consecutive half-century in an IPL 2021 league encounter against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Kohli looked delighted following the Australian’s 28-ball half-century which was recorded following a single down to long-on, off a full delivery bowled at the stumps.
Here is a look at his reaction to Maxwell’s half-century:

Maxwell has been in good touch for the Bangalore-based franchise in recent times. He scored a half-century in the previous game against SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH), marking his first 50 since the 2016 edition of the tournament. The Australian was also excellent in IPL 2021’s opening game between RCB and defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI).
Maxwell’s fine performances assume even greater importance considering his poor performance last season for the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), now known as Punjab Kings (PBKS). The 32-year-old failed to hit a single six for the Punjab-based franchise in the 2020 edition of the tournament which certainly had a massive impact on their fortunes.
RCB have never won the IPL so far, having reached the final on two occasions. They will be looking to win the ongoing edition of the cash-rich league, marking the end of their barren run.
