WWE and the Premier League are two major entertainment packages for Indian sports fans. Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the greatest sporting icons in the history of football. On the other hand, Indian fans love WWE wrestlers Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, John Cena, and Roman Reigns. Virat Kohli and Mohammed Siraj are no exceptions. Both Indian cricket team players admire a whole lot of icons outside of their cricketing bubble. But, both Kohli and Siraj put on a brilliant display of celebrations that paid tribute to their favorite icons.

The first individual to put social media in a meltdown with his celebration was Mohammed Siraj. He dismissed Rassie van der Dussen with a full delivery that the batsman chased. Van der Dussen managed to get the outside edge and Ajinkya Rahane took the catch at gully. The way Siraj celebrated went viral. Siraj channeled his inner Cristiano Ronaldo and performed the SIIUUU celebration.

For the unversed, the SIIIUUU celebration by Ronaldo when he scores a goal. Ronaldo does a mid-air pirouette before stating Si, which is Yes in Spanish upon landing. He first performed the SIIIUUU celebration during his time with Real Madrid. Here is Siraj paying tribute to Ronaldo.

When Jasprit Bumrah twisted his ankle in a painful manner, there was concern in the Indian cricket team. The visitors apparently seemed to have lost their gun pacer and South Africa was on the ropes. Luckily, Mohammed Shami led the attack from the front with a brilliant display of seam bowling. When Bumrah returned, India cheered loudly. In fact, Virat Kohli let out an iconic line from one of the wrestlers.

During his peak days, The Rock was one of the greatest wrestlers both in the ring and with the mic. His mic skills were simply amazing. His one-liner, “Finally, the Rock has come back” has become one of the best in the business. Kohli used that line to greet Bumrah. The line was apparently caught on the stump mic.

India are in a strong position after getting a lead of 130. KL Rahul hit 123 and Mohammed Shami chipped in with 5/44. In that process, he reached the milestone of 200 wickets in his 55th Test. With just two days of play to go, India would be determined to win in Centurion for the first time in their history.
