The Hundred 2022: Squads, Captains, Players To Watch Out For

The Hundred 2022 — men’s and women’s competition — will get underway in England from August after the initial success in the inaugural edition. The Hundred is a tournament hosted by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) for both men’s and women’s cricketers. The new initiative taken by the ECB has seen the 100-ball per innings tournament becoming a huge success in 2021. 

The Hundred 2022 men’s competition will get underway on August 3 with the inaugural fixture between Southern Brave vs Welsh Fire at The Ageas Bowl, Southampton. The Hundred 2022 women’s competition, meanwhile, will get underway from August 11 after the 2022 Commonwealth Games. The inaugural match will see Oval Invincibles facing Northern Superchargers.
