On Friday, Worcestershire will take on Derbyshire in the T20 Blast Nouth Group at the New Road in Worcester. Worcestershire is currently at the bottom in the points table having won only one and losing five with 2 points also. On the other hand, Derbyshire is placed third from the bottom of the points table with two wins and four defeats alongside 4 points in their name as well.
As far as the last game is concerned for Worcestershire, they lost to Leicestershire after Naveen-ul-Haq picked up a five-wicket haul in their 26-run victory. Leicestershire posted 162/6 where Rishi Patel top-scored for them with 37 off 25 while Arron Lilley hit a 20-ball 32. Ed Barnard claimed 2 for 17 from the three overs he bowled. Worcestershire also reached 90 before the 11th over but they lost mid-way after losing quick wickets and eventually lost too by 26 runs.

On the other hand, Northamptonshire went up to second in the points table with nine points after beating Derbyshire. They restricted Derbyshire to 151 as Tom Taylor struck thrice in an over towards the latter part of the innings and then skipper Joshua Cobb smashed a quickfire 70 to give Northamptonshire a convincing win in the penultimate over as well.
