The league stage games of the T20 Blast 2022 have come to their end-stage where Somerset will take on Surrey on July 3, Sunday at The Cooper Associates County Ground in Taunton. Somerset is currently placed second in the points table and they have 16 points to their name after having won 8 games and losing 4 as well. Somerset registered a 16-run win over Glamorgan in a rain-affected game. The game was reduced to a 7-overs-a-side contest due to inclement weather and rain. After a poor start where Somerset lost 4 wickets for just 15 runs, Tom Abell (26) and Tom Lammonby (18) helped them to put up 75 runs in 7 overs along with Ben Green, who smashed a 6-ball 17 as well. Meanwhile, bowlers did well as Glamorgan could manage only 59/5 with Colin Ingram the lone contributor who was unbeaten on 37 off 19.
