Yorkshire banked on a fine half-century from their wicket keeper-batter Tom Kohler-Cadmore (62) to put up a total of 160/5 on board after being asked to bat. English medium-pacer Gus Atkinson was the pick of the bowlers for Surrey as he scalped two wickets.
In the chase, Surrey came agonisingly close but lost by a run, as a quick-fire knock from English lower-order batter Jamie Overton (40) went in-vain. Yorkshire captain David Willey and his Pakistan spinner Shadab Khan scalped two wickets in the match.

Yorkshire finished fourth in the North Group table to qualify for the knock-out stage. They won seven games, lost six and tied one to reach the quarter-finals with 14 points in their kitty.
