Lancashire will face Yorkshire in the T20 Blast 2022 Semi-Finals 1 at Edgbaston in Birmingham on Saturday. Lancashire defeated Essex by seven wickets in the Quarter-Finals 3 to book their berth for the final four stage. Essex managed to put up a competitive total of 161/5 in the stipulated 20 overs with Michael Pepper (36) and P Walter (34 not out) top-scoring for their side. English medium pacer Luke Wood scalped two wickets for Lancashire.
Lancashire, in response, banked on match-winning half-centuries from Steven Croft (76 not out) and Dane Vilas (51) to seal a comfortable win. Matthew Critchley and captain Simon Harmer scalped a wicket each for Essex in the Quarter-Finals while their other bowlers were not up to the mark.

Lancashire finished at the second spot in the North Group with 18 points. They won eight matches, lost four, tied one and another ended in no result. Croft has been the leading run scorer for Lancashire in the T20 Blast 2022 RJ Gleeson who made his England debut in the second T20I vs India picked up 13 wickets.
