Lancashire will play against Nottinghamshire in their upcoming fixture on Sunday, June 19 at Stanley Park in Blackpool. Lancashire is placed at the top of the points table with six wins and one defeat alongside 13 points in their name whereas Nottinghamshire has 7 points to their name after having won 3 games and losing as many as well.

However, Lancashire lost their last game to Durham as they registered a two-wicket win in a low-scoring game at Chester-le-Street while chasing 131. Lancashire batters struggled in the middle as the Durham bowlers, kept them tied down. Andrew Tye and Nathan Sowter picked up 3 wickets each, while Ben Raine conceded just 18 in his four overs spell as well. Durham, in their chase, struggled too by Richard Gleeson’s four-wicket haul whereas Michael Jones (36) and Ned Eckersley (46) kept them in the chase. It was skipper Liam Trevaskis’s unbeaten 7-ball 16 that took them to the finish line as well.

On the other hand, Nottinghamshire registered a five-wicket win in Leicester after bundling Leicestershire out for 123 before chasing down the target in just 13.2 overs. Fall of wickets in regular intervals saw that the Leicestershire batters couldn’t stitch any significant partnerships. Wiaan Mulder and Rishi Patel stabilised the ship in the middle, but that didn’t help much. In reply, Alex Hales (44 off 16) and Ben Duckett (44 off 23) took Nottinghamshire to a convincing win, reaching the target in less than 15 overs as well.
