Lancashire is placed at the top of the points table with six wins and one defeat alongside 13 points in their name whereas Durham has 6 points to their name after having won three games and losing six as well.
Lancashire lost their last game to Northamptonshire by 7 wickets. Lancashire won the toss and opted to bat first. They put up 153 for 7 in their allotted 20 overs on the back of a quickfire 38 from the captain Dane Vilas and a blitzy 31 from Tim David. But, their efforts went in vain as Ben Curran (50) and Joshua Cobb (57) smashed stunning fifties and seal the deal for Northamptonshire. On the other hand, Durham lost their last game to Yorkshire by 65 runs. Batting first, Yorkshire post 201 runs, courtesy of Adam Lyth’s 46-ball 81 and quick cameos from Finn Allen and Kohler-Cadmore. Moreover, Jack Shutt claimed 4 for 35 and Durham could only manage 136 in 20 overs.
